September is budget month for the various governmental entities in the area, and officials will determine their final 2017-18 budgets and set mill levies this week and next.
Certified valuations were determined in mid-August. As a whole Dawes County took a $27,941,000 increase in valuation, though the trend in ag-land values remained relatively stable. The total county valuation now sits at $909,354,965.
